Whether you’re looking for a holiday home, seaside villa or investment property, we’ll guide you through the entire process — from finding the right property to signing the final documents and receiving your keys.
We’ll Guide You Every Step of the Way
1.Find the Right Property
Tell us what you’re looking for — and why.
From Athens and Thessaloniki to the Greek islands and beautiful coastal regions, Greece offers exceptional opportunities for lifestyle and investment.
We’ll help you find the right location and property for your goals, lifestyle and budget.
Foreign buyers can generally purchase property in Greece, although additional requirements may apply in certain designated areas.
2.Tax Number & Administration
Property buyers generally need a Greek tax identification number (AFM).
Your lawyer, accountant or tax adviser can assist with the necessary registrations and documentation. We’ll help coordinate the process with the relevant local professionals.
3.Make an Offer
Found the right property?
Once the main terms are agreed, a reservation or preliminary agreement may be used and a deposit may be requested.
Before signing or paying a significant deposit, your lawyer should review the terms so you understand your rights, obligations and any conditions attached to the purchase.
4.Legal & Technical Checks
Before completing the purchase, your lawyer and relevant technical professionals will check the property and its documentation.
This may include ownership, title records, mortgages or other encumbrances, building permits, planning matters and the legal status of the property.
We’ll help coordinate communication between the agent, lawyer, engineer and notary throughout the process.
5.Costs & Final Contract
In addition to the purchase price, buyers should budget for applicable taxes and professional costs, which may include notary, lawyer, registration, engineering and agency fees.
Once everything is ready, the final purchase deed is signed before a Greek notary.
6.Registration & Your Keys
After signing, the transfer is registered with the appropriate Greek Land Registry or Hellenic Cadastre.
Once the required registration process is completed, you can enjoy the best part — receiving the keys to your new property in Greece.
7.Off-Plan & New Developments
Buying off-plan requires additional checks covering the developer, permits, plans, construction specifications, payment stages and completion dates.
We’ll help coordinate with the developer and relevant professionals so you understand exactly what you’re buying, when payments are due and when your property will be ready.
8.After the Purchase
